Niloufar Danesh, DDS, MSD

Dr. Niloufar Danesh is a dedicated and passionate periodontist committed to providing exceptional dental care. Her journey in dentistry began at a young age, inspired by her mother, a periodontist and professor, who demonstrated the profound impact of quality dental care on patients' lives. Witnessing her mother's close relationships with her patients and the improvements she made to their overall well-being inspired Dr. Danesh to pursue a career in Periodontology.

Dr. Danesh graduated from dental school with a deep commitment to enhancing community health and wellness, which led her to earn a Master of Public Health from Texas A&M University. During her studies, she researched factors affecting periodontal health and discovered the critical connection between periodontal and systemic health. This experience solidified her dedication to advancing the field of periodontology through research and patient care.

She completed her residency in Periodontology and Dental Implants at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class. Dr. Danesh is proud to be a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a recognition of excellence in her specialty. Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, covering topics such as the importance of keratinized gingiva around dental implants, innovative techniques for implant placement in compromised and narrow ridges, and the use of lasers in dentistry.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Danesh has been honored to present her research at prestigious conferences, including the Academy of Osseointegration annual meeting. Her work on osseodensification methods for implant placement and minimally invasive dentistry has garnered several awards, including the American Academy of Implant Dentistry grant and the “Residents in Regeneration Case Challenge” award.

Dr. Danesh’s practice is focused on the treatment of patients with advanced periodontal disease, advanced gum recession, complicated bone loss, and replacing missing teeth with dental implants. She employs the latest techniques and technologies to ensure the best outcomes for her patients, providing comprehensive and compassionate care for even the most complex dental issues.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Danesh is deeply committed to giving back to the community. She volunteers with non-profit organizations such as “Give Kids a Smile,” “Hospice,” and “Ronald McDonald House Charities,” where she makes a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
